So, You Wanna Be a Rogue Trader?
It’s not a walk in the park. You don’t just get handed a ship and a cool coat.
First, you’ve gotta:
Build a name for yourself.
Find a crew (hopefully not total backstabbers).
Scrounge together ships, cash, and maybe a few secrets.
Danger’s part of the deal. High risk, high reward, right?
Making Your Space Hero (or Disaster)
Time to get creative! You’ll need:
Dice (obviously).
The Warhammer 40K rules.
Imagination (and maybe a backup character, just in case).
Spend your experience points on:
Skills (shooting, talking, surviving—pick your poison).
Gear (fancy hats optional but encouraged).
Background (noble? scoundrel? Both?).
Short on Time? Use a Template
Not everyone wants to spend an hour making a backstory.
Grab a pre-made character—pirate, explorer, ex-Imperial officer—you get the idea.
Just pick one, give ‘em a name, and you’re good to go!
